TOURIST VISA EXTENSION FOR 90 MORE DAYS IN ECUADOR

 

Procedure aimed at extending the stay in Ecuadorian territory, granted for up to 90 additional days to people who entered with the category of "TOURIST"

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Valid passport.

2. Extension application form.

Special Requirements:
General or special power of attorney executed before a notary public
or Ecuadorian consulate abroad.

Online Procedure:
1. Access the "Go to online procedure" option on this page.
2. Complete the application.
3. An advisor will contact you by phone.
4. Receive the response via email.

In-Person Procedure:
1. Go to the nearest Immigration Support Service.
2. Request an appointment for the issuance of your immigration extension.
3. Receive the immigration extension certificate.

Visa application fee
The cost is equivalent to one third of the Unified Basic Salary in Ecuador.
USD 50.00; Visa fee: USD 30.00 (No VAT.)
50% discount applies nationwide for senior citizens.
100% discount applies nationwide for people with a disability of 30% or more,
upon presentation of the disability card issued by the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador.
